Wigglesworth, Layton, Moyers & Chance, P.C. has a long and proud history. In 1953, John Ketchum opened "Business & Tax", an accounting, business management, and tax consulting company. He was joined by Margaret A. Toadvine, who later purchased the company.
The accounting business continued it’s growth with the addition of the late Frederick M. Wigglesworth in 1966, John T. Layton, Jr. in 1974, James E. Moyers, II in 1980 and Matthew P. Chance 2015.
We welcomed Susan C. Skinner as a new partner in our firm on January 1, 2024.
Wilkinson & Tobiassen Accounting Corporation, P.C. in Snow Hill, Maryland will be merging to become part of Wigglesworth, Layton, Moyers & Chance PC on November 01, 2024 with Eric K. Tobiassen joining us as a partner.
